MANIC-CURE, 2023
Susan Rostow: monotype stop animation, no sound
Manic-cure is a stop motion animation made with 179 camera shots of an inked monotype plate with photographs of my sculpture HANGING CAGE, placed underneath a clear plastic monotype printmaking plate. The video is part of an installation shown as a wall projection with the sculpture, on view at my solo exhibition, Hello from Here, September 26 through October 14, 2023 at Atlantic Gallery, New York, New York.
