THE TAILOR’S JOURNEY from Russia to America, includes a sculptural book, animation and sculptures. My sculptures (shown below) were used in the making of the animation. The animarion is presented inside the sculptural book.

THE TAILOR’S JOURNEY, from Russia to America, draws from childhood memories and the silence of my Jewish immigrant grandparents who fled Russia. They never spoke of their escape—only once my grandmother said, “I lived like a princess, and they took everything.” That sentence became the seed for my imagined narrative. With little to go on, I’ve pieced together my grandfather’s journey as a tailor, carrying his tools, memories of all that was left behind, and hope of what would come.
